Service Solution Architect

About this vacancy

We are looking for a Service Consultant IT to design and propose IT service solutions for complex intralogistics environments. In this role, you will lead the full IT service offer process and work closely with customers and internal teams to translate operational needs into scalable and reliable IT service solutions.

You will be part of the IT Service Design & Consult organization, advising customers on how to use IT services to support their operational and business goals while ensuring the proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with long-term service strategies. 

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end IT service quotation process, from requirements analysis to the preparation of IT service proposals
• Translate customer operational needs into tailored IT service solutions
• Coordinate with commercial stakeholders and subject-matter experts to define service offerings
• Ensure solution quality, feasibility, and correct estimation of service effort
• Manage customer expectations and guide them toward acceptance of proposed solutions
• Handle complex customer inquiries and internal questions related to IT services
• Maintain oversight of multiple service requests and priorities simultaneously
• Conduct customer needs assessments and identify opportunities to improve operations
• Advise customers on the optimal use of IT service products and service models
• Contribute to IT service lifecycle planning, ensuring long-term system availability and operational performance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Intralogistics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Several years of experience in IT services, intralogistics, warehouse automation, or automated system environments
• Experience working with customer-facing IT solutions or service design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and technical disciplines
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%)
