TMC continues to grow in Sweden with new Örebro office

13 october min.

TMC is establishing a presence in Örebro in October. Örebro becomes the Swedish company’s fifth location, following Stockholm, Gothenburg, Skövde and Västerås, and marks another important step in TMC’s continued expansion in the Swedish market.

TMC Örebro will focus on companies in the region that need expertise in areas such as engineering, manufacturing and IT, while building a local network of employeneurs who want to be part of TMC’s unique business model.

Christian Martinsson to lead the expansion

Christian Martinsson will take on the role of Business Unit Manager for TMC Örebro on 12 October. Born and raised in Örebro, Christian has extensive experience in the consulting and professional services sectors, with a background in business development, sales and leadership.

“Örebro has a strong industrial base, a high level of technical expertise and many companies going through transformation. There is clear potential for TMC here. Our focus now is on building relationships with companies in the region while finding the engineers who want to help develop the business together with us,” says Christian Martinsson, Business Unit Manager at TMC Örebro.

The Örebro region has a strong position in areas including mining and rock engineering technologies, defence, automation and advanced manufacturing. At the same time, demand for expertise in areas such as electrification, digitalisation and automation continues to grow.

“ We see clear momentum in the region and want to be closer to both customers and talent. Örebro fits well with our Swedish strategy and gives us the opportunity to further strengthen TMC’s presence in key industrial regions,” says Åsa Åhlander, CEO of TMC Sweden.

Continued growth across Sweden

TMC currently has 240 employees in Sweden and aims to grow to 500 employees by 2029. In 2026, the Swedish business was also strengthened through the acquisition of Level21.

With the new office in Örebro, TMC now operates in five locations across Sweden, further expanding its presence in one of the country’s key industrial regions. With Christian Martinsson in place, the work now begins to establish TMC in the local market and build new relationships with companies and engineers in the region.

“We’re starting from the ground up, but with a clear direction. Our goal is to build a strong TMC presence in Örebro and, over time, become a trusted partner for companies looking for technical expertise and for engineers who want to grow through Employeneurship,” says Christian Martinsson.
