About this vacancy

At TMC, you work as an entrepreneurial engineer within the high-tech and manufacturing industries. You combine the security of a permanent position with the variety and technical challenges of consultancy. Through our Employeneurship model, you are given the space to develop yourself professionally while working on long-term projects at leading companies in areas such as high-tech equipment, machine building, semiconductor technology, defense, energy, automotive, and precision engineering.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you are responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving high-quality mechanical modules and systems. You collaborate closely with specialists in mechatronics, electronics, software, production, and system engineering to develop innovative solutions that are technically sound, manufacturable, and meet high standards in terms of precision, dynamics, reliability, and integration.

Possible activities:
Designing mechanical concepts and 3D models for complex high-tech modules Calculating, simulating, and analyzing structures (FEM, strength, stiffness, thermal properties, tolerances) Preparing technical documentation, such as production drawings, tolerance schemes, and specifications Aligning with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, suppliers, and manufacturing partners Supervising prototypes, validations, and test setups for functionality and manufacturability Supporting industrialization and transitioning designs to productionIdentifying and implementing improvements at the design, system, or process level
