Work within the employeneurship model

As a process engineer at TMC, you approach process improvement with a broad perspective. You identify inefficiencies, turn analysis into actionable solutions and collaborate with various departments to make sure your solutions are truly implemented. You combine technical expertise with project management skills and strong communication.

What sets us apart? You’re not just an engineer; you’re an employeneur. This means you work in a stable position with all the benefits of permanent employment, while also enjoying the freedom and responsibility of entrepreneurship. You choose which projects to work on and develop your skills through our five growth pillars, including the YOUniversity for training and the Entrepreneurial Lab. That way, you quickly understand what our clients, often modern tech companies, need and you’re ready to deliver.

What you’ll do as a process engineer?

In this role, your daily focus is on optimizing production processes. You analyze (process) data, identify bottlenecks in existing systems, and translate your findings into concrete improvements.

You design new solutions or improve existing setups, for example to enhance quality or sustainability. Where applicable, you ensure compliance with current safety and environmental regulations relevant to your sector.

Other key responsibilities as a process engineer

You’ll also implement new technologies, support change management on the shop floor, and work closely with colleagues from different departments. You’ll be responsible for quality assurance, embedding LEAN principles, and leading projects.

In short: no two days are the same. One moment you’re solving technical issues in a live production setting, the next you’re introducing an innovative installation technique or leading a multi-stakeholder improvement project. This variety makes the job both challenging and rewarding, especially in organizations that never stop improving.
