About this vacancy
As a Civil Engineering Preparatory Planner (Werkvoorbereider GWW) at TMC, you support contractors, municipalities, and consultancy firms in complex civil engineering projects in the southern Netherlands. You translate designs and contracts into executable plans and act as the key link between design, implementation, and project management. You contribute to optimal execution by effectively coordinating schedules, materials, permits, and subcontractors. Within the TMC detachment model, you have the opportunity to gain experience with multiple leading organizations while expanding your expertise and network. ### Your tasks include: - Drafting and monitoring project schedules - Coordinating materials, equipment, and services - Aligning with field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers - Checking drawings and specifications for feasibility - Identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities - Preparing work meetings and progress reports - Supporting budget monitoring and additional work - Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
What we expect from you
To be successful as a Work Planner GWW, you should have:
- Dutch language proficiency C1/C2
- Completed mbo+ or hbo-level education in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in GWW or infrastructure
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Technical insight and precision
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and responsible attitude
- Excellent communication skills
