The energy transition demands smart solutions, strong collaboration, and thorough preparation. As a Work Planner at TMC, you ensure that complex energy and infrastructure projects run smoothly. You bring together technology, planning, and execution, thereby directly contributing to the expansion and sustainability of the Dutch energy supply. Within TMC, you have the opportunity to work as an Employeneur on challenging projects while continuing to develop yourself within a strong network of technical professionals. As a Work Planner, you are closely involved in technical projects within the energy infrastructure, from preparation to execution. You collaborate with project managers, supervisors, engineers, and external partners to ensure that tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. You maintain oversight, anticipate needs, and ensure that all involved parties have the right information at the right time.
Your tasks include:
- Preparing, planning, and coordinating technical activities within energy and infrastructure projects.
- Ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and necessary resources.
- Compiling and managing work packages for execution.
- Aligning with supervisors, project leaders, engineers, suppliers, and clients.
- Managing project documentation and processing changes during the project phase.
- Identifying bottlenecks and providing practical solutions.
- Contributing to the safe, structured, and successful execution of projects.
What we expect from you
You are organizationally strong, maintain oversight, and feel at home in a technical project environment. You easily switch between different stakeholders and enjoy playing a central role in projects.
In addition, you possess:
- A vocational (MBO 4) or bachelor (HBO) degree in a technical field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience as a Work Planner, Scheduler, or Project Support Officer in a technical environment.
- An affinity for energy, infrastructure, industrial, or installation projects.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
- The ability to maintain oversight in a dynamic project environment.
A practical and solution-oriented way of working. Experience within energy infrastructure is a plus, but not a strict requirement. Even if you want to transition from another technical sector to the energy transition, we are eager to get in touch with you.
