About this vacancy
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wireless Communications Systems Engineer to design, model, and verify advanced wireless communication systems. In this role, you will work across system, algorithm, and architecture levels to translate communication theory into robust and efficient building-block specifications. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams covering hardware, software, and verification to deliver high‑performance modem and RF-enabled solutions for wireless communication, localization, and radar applications. Responsibilities - Design, analyze, and simulate wireless communication systems and derive detailed building‑block specifications. - Develop and evaluate signal processing algorithms related to: Timing and frequency recovery Signal estimation and detection Automatic Gain Control (AGC) - Contribute to modem architecture definition, including interaction with microprocessor architecture and hardware/software control interfaces. - Support and execute modem verification activities, including: Definition of verification plans Selection of verification methodologies Execution, tracking, and reporting of verification progress and results - Analyze and understand RF transceiver architectures and associated trade‑offs for: Wireless communication systems Localization solutions Radar applications - Build and maintain system and algorithm models using SystemC, Python, and MATLAB. - Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and verification engineers to ensure architectural alignment and design feasibility. - Actively participate in technical reviews, providing constructive feedback and proposing improvements. - Take initiative in exploring new concepts, identifying issues early, and driving solutions in a proactive, hands‑on manner.
What we expect from you
- 3+ years of professional experience in designing and simulating wireless communication systems. - Strong foundation in communication theory, digital signal processing, and filter design. - Proven experience in modem-related algorithm design and system‑level modeling. - Solid understanding of: Modem architectures Microprocessor architectures Hardware and software control mechanisms - Hands‑on experience with modem verification, including planning, execution, and tracking. - Strong modeling skills using SystemC, Python, and MATLAB (mandatory). - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. - A proactive, flexible, and problem‑solving mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
