About this vacancy
In this role, you are responsible for testing advanced space systems and components that are used in international space missions.
You prepare tests, execute them, and document the results to verify that systems meet the established quality and performance requirements. Together with Project Managers, Team Leads, and Engineers, you contribute to the successful realization of complex and technically challenging space projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Preparing and executing functional tests and qualification tests on complex space systems and components;
- supporting verification and validation activities throughout the entire development cycle;
- analyzing test results and reporting findings;
- drafting test documentation and technical reports;
- collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues;
- contributing to the continuous improvement of test methods and processes;
- simultaneously supporting multiple international space projects.
What we expect from you
In addition to a completed higher vocational education (HBO) in Aerospace Engineering (or a similar field), you possess the following:
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
- experience within a technical or high-tech production environment;
- experience with CAD software;
- strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
- experience in the aviation, aerospace, or satellite industry is a nice plus;
- residence in the Netherlands.
