Technical writer

About this vacancy

As a Technical Writer, you are responsible for developing, managing, and improving technical documentation. You gather information from various stakeholders and ensure that procedures, work instructions, and manuals are clear, accurate, and up-to-date.

Your tasks include:

• Drafting, updating, and managing technical documentation.
• Writing work instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical manuals.
• Collecting input from engineers, operators, and technical specialists.
• Translating complex technical information into understandable documentation.
• Ensuring documentation standards and quality guidelines.
• Managing changes in technical documents.
• Supporting knowledge retention within the organization.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of documentation processes.

What we expect from you

• A completed vocational, bachelor's, or master's degree program, preferably in a technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Document Specialist, or a similar role.
• Strong affinity with technology; a background in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design is a strong advantage.
• Experience in drafting technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to gather information from various disciplines.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• Experience in an industrial, production, or technical environment is a plus.

• Salary between €3,951 and €5,000 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience.
