In this position, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining the architecture of highly advanced electronic test and measurement systems used in both R&D and manufacturing environments. As the technical authority for complex electronic platforms, you will play a key role in translating customer needs, market demands, and product strategies into scalable, reliable, and future-proof solutions. The role has a strong focus on electrical engineering, with significant emphasis on high-power and analog electronics. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of hardware, software, and firmware engineers, providing technical leadership throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept creation through validation and market introduction. Responsibilities • Define, maintain, and further develop system and electrical architectures for complex high-tech equipment. • Translate customer requirements, market developments, and product roadmaps into clear functional and technical specifications. • Lead the complete technical design process, from concept and system architecture through detailed design, validation, and verification. • Drive the electrical design direction of sophisticated systems with a strong focus on high-power, analog, and digital electronics. • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to an international team of engineers. • Conduct concept studies, feasibility assessments, and proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies. • Identify technical risks early and support development projects through effective risk management and technical decision-making. • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and quality requirements. • Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and other key stakeholders. • Contribute to technology roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement of engineering processes. • Represent the technical vision and architectural direction in discussions with customers, management, and external partners.
What we expect from you
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-tech, semiconductor, test equipment, or similar engineering environment. • Extensive expertise in electrical system architecture and high-power electronics. • Strong understanding of the complete engineering lifecycle, including requirements engineering, system design, detailed design, validation, and verification. • Deep knowledge of analog electronics combined with a solid understanding of digital electronics. • Proven ability to technically lead, mentor, and support engineering teams. • Strong analytical skills and experience with technical trade-off analysis, risk assessment, and complex problem-solving. • Comfortable working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in an international environment. • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Able to work independently while influencing and guiding teams without direct management responsibility. • Passionate about innovation, technology, and developing cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment.
