About this vacancy
For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Surveyor who will be responsible for the qualitative and quantitative measurement data and information related to cables and pipelines. You ensure that thousands of households are always supplied with light, heat, gas, electricity, and water.
As a surveyor, you perform all (surveying) tasks related to infrastructure projects and ensure file management is always accurate, correct, and traceable. Based on the client's needs and requirements, you accurately record the positioning data and properties of cables, pipelines, and topography.
Your responsibilities include:- Efficiently planning and performing measurements while maintaining communication with supervisors and/or foremen regarding the execution of surveys and measurements
- Inspecting measuring equipment to ensure proper functionality and identifying defects
- Registering and precisely processing measurement data and creating field sketches using CAD software
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to procedures, guidelines, and legal requirements regarding safety, health, quality, labor conditions, and the environment
You will join a dynamic and fast-growing company with ambitious future plans. This is a role with significant responsibilities, where you will collaborate with regional managers who oversee project execution.
You will be part of a diverse team comprising young and experienced colleagues where teamwork and exchanging ideas with coworkers are standard practice. The team includes modelers, surveyors, and ground radar operators. You work closely with foremen and supervisors to accurately document the installations they've carried out.
What we expect from you
- Vocational education level (e.g., land surveying, civil engineering, road/water construction, electrical engineering)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of and experience with automated processing systems
- Knowledge of underground infrastructure technology (gas, water, energy, telecom)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Driver's license (Category B)
