About this vacancy
As a Specialist Underground & Infrastructure, you are responsible for developing innovative open geothermal energy systems (ATES systems) for the temporary storage of heat and cold. You are the expert in the field of wells and the shallow subsurface and work closely with the design and implementation team to successfully deploy these systems. Your role includes the following tasks:
- Designing groundwater wells and underground infrastructure;
- Coordinating designs with external parties and stakeholders;
- Applying for the necessary permits for system implementation;
- Conducting on-site quality checks;
- Guiding contractors toward the successful realization of functional systems.
What we expect from you
You have excellent communication skills and can translate your technical knowledge into practical advice. You are flexible and willing to meet contractors on-site throughout the Netherlands, and you handle unexpected situations well. You are confident and always maintain calmness and clarity.
In addition, you possess:
- A completed relevant HBO or WO degree (for example, Land and Water Management, Geotechnics, and/or Civil Engineering);
- Relevant work experience in a project-based and technical environment;
- A driver's license (Class B);
- Knowledge of tenders and related legislation;
- Experience with AutoCAD;
- A minimum Dutch language level of B2.
