About this vacancy
As a Soil Advisor, you investigate soil quality prior to planned excavation activities. You conduct administrative soil research, collect and assess available information, and translate your findings into a complete preliminary investigation and clear advice for the client.
Your analytical perspective comes in handy for this role. You make connections, critically evaluate information, and draw sound conclusions based on this. Is the situation more complex? Then you dig deeper, consult with relevant parties, and arrive at an appropriate solution.
You regularly communicate with entities such as consultancy firms, municipalities, environmental agencies, and provinces. Making a phone call when necessary isn’t a problem for you.
You work independently on your own workload, but certainly not alone. Together with your colleagues, you work towards shared goals and exchange knowledge and expertise with one another.
The organization continuously develops new products and services in the field of environmental consultancy and works on improving its processes. This provides plenty of room for your ideas, initiative, and personal development.

Of course, you’re not expected to know all the ins and outs of our approach on day one. That’s why you will receive internal training when you start. The training will take place during the first three weeks of your employment. This period will form the foundation for working independently as a Soil Advisor thereafter.
