About this vacancy

The resource will join a technical team involved in the development and maintenance of software applications dedicated to the processing and analysis of complex data.

Specifically, they will be responsible for:

• Analyzing, verifying, and correcting implementation requirements
• Developing and maintaining Java applications, working both on algorithmic components and on the frontend created in Swing
• Collaborating in the analysis and processing of technical data, with a particular focus on complex parameters and datasets
• Managing interactions with relational databases, performing development and optimization of queries
• Participating in versioning and code management activities using Git.
• Supporting the porting of algorithms and functionalities from Matlab to Java, ensuring the correct translation of application logic
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for the integration and continuous improvement of software solutions

What we expect from you

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• At least 2 years of experience in software development in Java
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and algorithm development
• Experience in developing graphical interfaces using Java Swing
• Knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle and MySQL
• Experience using Git for code versioning
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
• Experience or basic knowledge of Matlab for porting activities to Java
• Problem-solving attitude, analytical skills, and team-working predisposition
• Italian C2 and English B2

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent contract, and the gross annual salary (RAL) base offered will not be less than €30,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.

TMC is committed to providing a competitive compensation package and, at the end of the selection process, evaluating the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL higher than the level mentioned above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a direct participation component in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget for skill development of €4,000 net per year, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in accordance with company policies in force.
