As a Senior Java Engineer, you work on software projects where reliability, scalability, and technical depth are key. Depending on your knowledge and interests, your tasks may include:
- Developing backend software using modern Java versions
- Working with Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JPA/Hibernate
- Setting up and expanding microservices and REST interfaces
- Building and maintaining CI/CD integrations
- Designing and improving software architecture
- Contributing to decisions on performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborating with colleagues in software, mechatronics, systems engineering, and testing
- Documenting and structuring software according to professional standards

What we expect from you
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Java backend development
- Experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks
- Experience with microservices, REST, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with SQL and JPA/Hibernate
- Knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Git, Maven/Gradle)
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in teamwork
- Dutch language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
- Willingness to contribute long-term to projects via TMC
