About this vacancy

The person will join a technical team dedicated to the development and evolution of Digital Twin solutions supporting vehicle software development and validation, contributing autonomously to implementation choices and the improvement of simulation tools, with particular focus on systems for electric mobility.



• Analyze the technical and functional requirements of automotive systems to be reproduced in a virtual environment, translating them into software solutions.
• Design, develop, and independently maintain software modules in C language running on PC.
• Contribute to the definition of software architecture and the evolution of Digital Twin models and virtual simulation environments to anticipate software integration and validation activities for vehicles.
• Integrate models, software components, and interfaces to simulate the behavior of automotive systems, including those for electric vehicles.
• Define testing strategies and cases, perform debugging activities, and analyze the results, ensuring code quality, robustness, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and propose technical, performance, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and technical stakeholders in integration, troubleshooting, and solution release activities.

What we expect from you

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, or related technical disciplines.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in C software development.
• Solid knowledge of the C language and the main tools for development, compilation, profiling, and debugging in a PC environment.
• Experience in modular software design, memory management, and performance analysis.
• Experience with Git, code review, and structured methodologies for software development and testing.
• Interest in or experience with the automotive sector, virtual simulation, and Digital Twin technologies.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, Model-Based Design, or automotive simulation environments is a plus.
• Operational autonomy, analytical skills, precision, and a problem-solving and team-working attitude.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel and relocate will be considered a plus.
• Strong motivation to embrace TMC's Employeneurship model.

What you can expect from us

The position includes a permanent employment contract and a base Gross Annual Salary (RAL) of no less than €33,000, in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the selection process, after evaluating the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may propose a final RAL higher than the amount indicated above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes:

• a component of profit-sharing based on project success;
• an individual annual budget for training and professional development amounting to €4,000 net;
• an annual welfare credit.
