Senior Java Software Engineer

About this vacancy

The selected person will work closely with PM, stakeholders, software architects, and engineering managers to translate business requirements into high-level technical solutions. Collaborate on the analysis of business requirements with PM and stakeholders. Define technical solutions in synergy with the team, software architects, and engineering managers. Document the solutions in detailed technical specifications. Estimate the effort required for each activity and support planning. Implement robust and scalable software solutions. Validate and verify deliverables according to established quality criteria. Provide support during testing and troubleshooting phases.

What we expect from you

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar;
• Advanced experience with Java and related frameworks (Springboot, etc.);
• In-depth knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Effective communication and interaction with the team and stakeholders. Fluency in both Italian and English.

What you can expect from us

The position includes a permanent employment contract and a base Gross Annual Salary (RAL) of at least €37,000, in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the selection process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may propose a final RAL exceeding the amount mentioned above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes:

• a component of profit-sharing from the project;
• an annual individual budget for training and professional development amounting to €4,000 net;
• an annual welfare credit.
