Senior Java Cloud-Native Software Engineer

About this vacancy
The selected person will work closely with PMs, stakeholders, software architects, and engineering managers to translate business requirements into high-level technical solutions.
Collaborate in the analysis of business requirements with PMs and stakeholders
- Define technical solutions in synergy with the team, software architects, and engineering managers
- Document solutions in detailed technical specifications
- Estimate the effort required for each activity and support planning
- Implement robust and scalable cloud-native solutions
- Validate and control deliverables according to established quality criteria
- Provide support during testing and troubleshooting phases
What we expect from you
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- Advanced experience with Java and cloud-native backend development (at least 5 years)
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management
- Experience in coordinating small work teams
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
- Effective communication and interaction with the team and stakeholders
- Inclination for mentoring and supporting junior resources
- Fluency in both Italian and English
What you can expect from us
The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the gross annual salary (RAL) base offered will not be less than €36,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive salary package and, upon completion of the selection process and evaluation of the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL higher than the level indicated above.
In accordance with our business model, the final salary package also includes a direct participation component in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget of €4,000 net per year for skill development, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in compliance with current company policies.
