About this vacancy
As a Solution Engineer within the Industrial Harbor Cranes team, you will work on advanced remote-control and automation solutions for container cranes in ports around the world. You will be part of a young, multidisciplinary and international team. No two days are the same: you design and integrate SCADA solutions, collaborate closely with PLC and hardware specialists and take part in on-site commissioning activities. The challenge lies in delivering reliable, safe and scalable solutions in mission-critical environments.
What we expect from you
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- You actively work with object-oriented programming languages in industrial environments
- You preferably have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with WinCC OA
- You are able to read, analyze and adjust PLC logic (SIMATIC S7) when required
- You understand complex system behavior across SCADA, PLC and hardware layers
- You are professionally fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
- You hold a valid driver’s license
