Robot Software Engineer
TMC Italia is looking for a Robot Software Engineer to develop, test, and install software in the field of intralogistics systems.

About this vacancy
The resource will be responsible for:
- Developing, testing, and installing software for robot management within the scope of intralogistics systems.
- Coordinating with software team members and members of other departments throughout the project lifecycle (electrical engineering department, software project management office, Field Operation unit, etc.).
- During on-site installation, proactively participating in on-site activities, including organizing tasks and managing issues arising from installation until the site is handed over to the client.
- Once the assigned project is completed, coordinating with the Customer Service department for project handover and post-delivery support.
- Through a continuous improvement process, coordinating with the software technical office to resolve any bugs encountered during the software commissioning.
What we expect from you
The candidate possesses at least 2 years of experience in the field of automation and robotics and must have a good knowledge of the following technologies:
- Fanuc Programming Language, Fanuc Robot Operating Logic, Fanuc Tool Software (Roboguide)
- PLC Programming Languages (IEC61131-3), specifically ST (Structured Text), LD (Ladder Diagram), and AWL (Instruction List); Siemens Software Tools (TiA Portal, Step 7, Proneta)
- Understanding electrical schematics
- Proficient written and spoken English (level B1 or higher)
The candidate must possess:
- A degree in Computer or Automation Engineering supported by prior experience in the role
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong inclination towards Team Working
- The candidate must be available to travel occasionally within Italy and abroad (at least 50% of the working time).
What you can expect from us
The position offers a permanent contract, and the base gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €32,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive remuneration package and, upon completion of the selection process, assessing the experiences, skills, and qualifications of the candidate, may propose a final RAL exceeding the level stated above.
In accordance with our business model, the final remuneration package also includes a direct participation component in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget of €4,000 net per year for skill development, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in compliance with current company policies.
