About this vacancy

As a QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety & Health) Specialist, you will play a key role in safeguarding and improving operational performance within a high-volume production environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, process reliability, and continuous improvement in line with QESH standards. Monitor and analyze process and compliance performance using data-driven methodologies (e.g., SPC, audits, inspections) Identify, investigate, and resolve quality, environmental, and safety deviations on the production floor Lead root cause analyses of incidents, non-conformities, and risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring QESH requirements are defined, validated, and integrated into processes Develop and maintain QESH-related documentation, including SOPs, risk assessments, and compliance reports Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure safe operations, process stability, and effective knowledge transfer Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, environmental performance, and workplace safety Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

What we expect from you

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc/MSc) in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field; specializations in legislation, permitting, Seveso, or the Dutch Omgevingswet are a strong advantage Proven experience in a high-tech, industrial, or manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to QESH topics Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and compliance monitoring tools (e.g., SPC, audits, incident tracking) Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., environmental permits, Seveso/BRZO, Omgevingswet, ISO 9001/14001/45001) Familiarity with risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach with strong ownership Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and with external stakeholders (e.g., authorities, auditors)
