About this vacancy

The Quality Control Transfer team is part of the Quality Control Operations (QCO) department. Our team ensures that reproducible, high-quality tests are successfully transferred using a standardized transfer methodology.

This can involve introducing new tests from R&D for new products or transferring or receiving existing tests to and from other MSD sites. You will work on a variety of biological tests on vaccine intermediates and final products. The goal is clear: ensuring a successful transfer of one or more tests to Quality Control Operations, within the agreed timeline and with the quality our products deserve.

We work according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure consistent quality and reliability of tests and products. Additionally, we use Lean Six Sigma tools to collaborate in a structured way, prevent issues, and continuously improve.

Are you an enthusiastic professional who enjoys contributing to timely and high-quality transfers? Do you appreciate diverse work and want to immerse yourself in a broad range of biological tests, from classic cell culture tests, microbiological tests, and immunofluorescence techniques to PCR? Would you like to contribute to timely product launches or share your QC knowledge with another MSD QC lab? Then the QC Transfer team is the place where your expertise truly makes an impact.

What will you do?

·        Perform biological tests, check results, and report them accurately.

·        Work with a variety of biological testing techniques, such as ELISA, cell culture, titrations, microbiological tests, PCR, and immunofluorescence.

·        Process test results in data and reporting systems.

·        Evaluate tests, review, and release test results.

·        Transfer test knowledge to other MSD sites.

·        Actively participate in Tier meetings and contribute to daily alignment.

·        Identify and report deviations in accordance with established procedures.

·        Work in compliance with GMP, GMO, and EHS guidelines.

·        Participate in improvement initiatives and projects using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
