You thrive on integral multidisciplinary energy infrastructure projects, focusing on areas such as high-voltage substations, overhead line connections, and underground infrastructure. In your work, you enjoy being challenged to be technically distinctive and deliver the best possible results in the execution and planning of engineering activities. With your insight and experience, you oversee not only the technical aspects but also the commercial and legal consequences. This makes you the specialist that our clients, such as TenneT, energy companies, regional grid operators, and contractors, need.
Depending on the project, you manage and guide it through all phases, from feasibility studies to construction supervision. You ensure that the project’s financial administration is in excellent order. With your knowledge and experience, you inspire and enthusiastically lead a team of fellow experts. You maintain contact with all parties involved to coordinate tasks, ensuring that everyone knows what they need to know. You enjoy sharing your expertise and teaching junior colleagues the ins and outs of the profession.
You like to be the point of contact for clients and take full responsibility for projects where quality, planning, and budget are naturally prioritized. You focus on addressing the questions behind the client’s initial query. Challenges, variety, and thinking outside the box energize you—and you’ll find plenty of that at WSP.

What we expect from you
- You hold a higher education/university degree in fields such as electrical engineering, engineering, or construction.
- You have several years of experience as a project leader.
- You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and persist until you achieve an optimal result.
- By nature, you enjoy taking the lead and solving challenges that come your way.
- You can communicate clearly and inspiringly, with a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
- You have a strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
