About this vacancy

As Project Leader Energy and Sustainability, you manage projects focused on the sustainability of our energy infrastructure. You collaborate with clients to implement energy solutions that contribute to a more sustainable Netherlands. You are responsible for the entire project lifecycle: from initial planning and design to execution and delivery. You ensure the energy transition progresses smoothly by addressing technical and organizational challenges, applying risk management, and delivering results on time and within budget. You work closely with internal teams, external partners, governments, and stakeholders to realize sustainable energy projects, ranging from setting up new networks to improving existing infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

Leading projects within the energy transition, focusing on sustainable energy solutions and the modernization of energy infrastructure;
Managing the complete project cycle, from design to implementation, while overseeing budget and scheduling;
Coordinating with various stakeholders, including grid operators, municipalities, and other partners, to achieve shared project goals;
Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations surrounding energy and sustainability and applying the latest technological innovations;
Identifying new market opportunities and contributing to the creation of additional work and new projects.

What we expect from you

• A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university education, preferably in a technical field such as Energy Technology, Sustainable Energy, or Civil Engineering; • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy sector or sustainability; • Proven experience with the energy transition, renewable energy sources, and energy infrastructure; • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the energy and sustainability sector; • Proficiency in using project management tools and working with complex schedules and budgets; • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders; • A proactive attitude and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
