About this vacancy
As a production engineer at TMC, you help our clients develop, streamline, and future-proof their production. You will be part of projects and teams driving development initiatives in areas such as production development, industrialization, investments, and the implementation of new production solutions.
The projects vary in scope and complexity, from specialized efforts in individual areas to larger investment and development projects where you contribute to creating long-term improvements within the operations.
Your tasks may include industrialization of new products, production development, machinery acquisition and investments, layout and workplace design, process and flow development, material handling, risk analyses, SAT/FAT, and streamlining existing production processes.
We are looking for individuals with experience from manufacturing industries and a good understanding of production environments, for example within assembly, machining, or process industries. Experience in production development, improvement work, MTM SAM, flow simulation, or ergonomics is considered an advantage.
What we expect from you
- Academic degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, or equivalent.
- A few years of experience as a production engineer or in a similar technical role within manufacturing industry.
- Experience from production environments and at least one production process, such as assembly, machining, or process production. Ability to drive activities forward and collaborate with various functions in the organization.
- Strong communication skills as well as the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
This role is well-suited for someone who wants to combine technology, improvement efforts, and project-based work, and who thrives on delivering tangible results in production.
