About this vacancy

In the role of Production Engineer, you will work with production development together with our clients around Västerås. You will be close to daily production and work on developing, streamlining, and improving production processes. The tasks are varied and may include machine procurement, automation, workplace design, problem solving, creation and updating of work instructions, as well as continuous improvement efforts.

 

You will work both operationally and in a development-oriented manner, where you, together with production and other functions, identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives that contribute to a more efficient and stable production.

What we expect from you

We appreciate if you have experience with MTM-SAM, SAT/FAT, cutting machining, automation, and/or flow simulation. Experience with production technology work in the production environment, such as streamlining, problem solving, improvement work, and developing work instructions. 

 

Requirements for the role are:

  • An academic degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, or equivalent technical education.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the role of a Production Engineer.
  • Previous experience in conducting risk analyses, workplace design, and/or machinery procurement.
  • Experience with production technology work and improvement work.
  • Experience working closely with production on streamlining and continuous improvements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

 

Meritorious:

  • Experience in Team Lead, Production Lead, or similar leadership roles.
  • Experience with automation.
