Do you ensure that technical designs are seamlessly translated into an efficient production process? Are you analytically strong, enjoy working at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and production, and get energized organizing complex product data? Then we would love to get to know you. As a Product Data Engineer, you play an important role in the development and production of high-quality technical products. You ensure that product information, bill of materials, and configurations are correctly set up and managed, so engineering, logistics, and production always work with accurate data. As a Product Data Engineer, you are responsible for translating designs into a manageable and efficient production process. You ensure that product structures are logically organized and that changes are implemented in a controlled and careful manner. Your tasks include: - Translating engineering data into production-oriented product structures and bill of materials. - Managing and optimizing product, item, and configuration data within PLM and ERP systems. - Processing and implementing engineering changes throughout the entire product lifecycle. - Analyzing the impact of changes on production, logistics, and inventory management. - Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, project management, and production to ensure the quality of product data. - Improving processes related to configuration management, master data, and product structures. - Ensuring data integrity and uniform working methods within the organization. Identifying improvement opportunities and optimizing information flows between different departments.
What we expect from you
You are someone who enjoys bringing order to complex technical information. You understand how products are developed and produced and quickly recognize the impact changes can have on processes, planning, and logistics. Additionally, you bring the following: - A completed bachelor's degree in Technical Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. - Affinity with technical products and production environments, along with experience in product structures, bill of materials, and article management. - Knowledge of ERP and/or PLM systems. - An analytical, structured, and precise working method. - Strong communication skills and the ability to connect various disciplines. - A proactive attitude and the drive for continuous process improvement.
