About this vacancy
For an international pharmaceutical production environment, we are looking for a Pharmaceutical Packaging Equipment Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for introducing and qualifying packaging processes, equipment, and technologies within a GMP-regulated environment. As a Pharmaceutical Packaging Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the field of packaging processes and packaging equipment. You will work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to successfully implement innovative solutions. Your tasks include, among others: - Introducing and implementing new packaging processes, technologies, and equipment - Preparing technical documentation such as: User Requirement Specifications (URS) Engineering protocols and reports Qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) Risk analyses and change controls - Coordinating, performing, and reporting investigations, root cause analyses, and improvement projects - Supporting CAPEX projects and investment initiatives - Enhancing processes, systems, and technologies within the packaging departments - Working in compliance with GMP, Quality, EHS, and compliance guidelines - Collaborating in multidisciplinary and international project teams
What we expect from you
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working - Education in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or a comparable technical field - Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical devices, food, chemistry, or a similarly regulated manufacturing company - Experience with equipment qualification and validation activities - Knowledge of packaging technologies, secondary and tertiary packaging processes, and packaging materials - Knowledge of GMP, EHS, and Lean methodologies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proactive and result-oriented work attitude - Good stakeholder management and communication skills Language requirement: Excellent command of the Dutch language is a strict requirement. You will work daily with Dutch-language procedures, documentation, and stakeholders. Additionally, you must have a good command of the English language.
