About this vacancy
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you work in a high-tech R&D environment where micrometers make the difference, and innovations shape the future. You develop groundbreaking solutions for the next generation of semiconductor equipment, directly contributing to technology with a global impact. In this project, you will work on the following technical challenges on a daily basis: · Designing and optimizing high-precision mechanical modules for advanced semiconductor equipment; · Analyzing and improving motion control performance, including stiffness, mass distribution, and dynamic response; · Managing thermal effects to ensure stability and reliability at the micrometer level; · Performing simulations and calculations (FEM, dynamics, thermal analysis) to substantiate design choices; · Improving the dynamic behavior of systems, including vibration analysis and damping strategies; · Optimizing the cost of goods without compromising performance or quality; · Designing for mechanical robustness, lifespan, and reproducibility; · Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as systems engineering, mechatronics, electronics, manufacturing, and supply chain; · Translating complex technical challenges into innovative, feasible solutions with a high degree of autonomy.
What we expect from you
- Completed MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant design experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, robotics, or mechatronics industries. - Extensive experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, or Creo) and accompanying simulation software. - A proactive attitude and unafraid to ask questions. - Challenging projects in a dynamic environment do not intimidate you.
