About this vacancy
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting technical feasibility studies, evaluating the manufacturability of parts in relation to design constraints, available technologies, and machine tool capabilities.
- Estimating machine times and setup times using standard methodologies such as MTM to ensure accuracy in planning and costs.
- Using CATIA V5 to analyze 3D models, identify critical steps, and propose production-oriented optimizations (DfM).
- Defining the complete work cycle, including machining sequences, rotations, fixtures, tool selection, cutting parameters, and continuous improvement solutions.
- Coordinating the subsequent phases of the production process, such as painting and surface or heat treatments, ensuring operational flow consistency and smoothness.
What we expect from you
- Knowledge of CAD software, preferably CATIA V5
- Experience in mechanical design and solid understanding of mechanical processing
- Excellent relational and interfacing skills with design, production, and quality
- Proficiency in Italian (C1) and English
What you can expect from us
The position involves a permanent contract, and the gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €29,000, in line with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive salary package and, upon completion of the selection process, evaluating the experiences, skills, and qualifications of the candidate, may propose a final RAL higher than the level indicated above.
As part of our business model, the final salary package additionally includes a component of direct participation in project profits (profit sharing), an individual growth budget of €4,000 net annually for skills development, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process in accordance with the company's current policies.
