As an Employeneur, you combine the security of a permanent contract with the variety and challenge of consultancy. Together, we determine which projects, Service Areas, and company cultures best match your talents and ambitions.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you work on technical challenges across different phases of the engineering process, from concept and design to realization and optimization.
Depending on the project, your role can vary from design-focused to more geared towards production, analysis, or improvement. You collaborate with other disciplines, such as software, electrical, and production, and contribute to solutions that are technically sound and practically feasible.
Possible tasks:
- Designing and/or improving mechanical components and systems
- Modeling and developing constructions in 3D CAD
- Preparing technical drawings and documentation
- Analyzing constructions (e.g., strength, tolerances, manufacturability)
- Guiding prototypes, tests, and validations
- Supporting industrialization and production processes
- Identifying and implementing improvements in design or process
- Aligning with stakeholders such as suppliers, production, and project teams
The scope of your role depends on the project and your development path. At TMC, we actively explore where you can thrive the most.
What we expect from you
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience with 2D, 3D, and CAD design (SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
- An affinity for machine construction, high-tech systems, or product development
- Strong social and communication skills
- Flexibility and enthusiasm to work on various long-term projects
- A proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and perseverance
- At least B2 level in Dutch
