About this vacancy
For one of our clients located in the Liège region, active in the defense industry and specialized in the manufacturing of weapons, we are looking for an Industrialization Technician to strengthen the Industrialization team within an RDI environment. You will be involved in the industrialization of high-precision mechanical components in a highly regulated context where quality, traceability, and process robustness are essential. **Your responsibilities** - Analyze parts to be industrialized and define the necessary technological and manufacturing processes. - Launch and monitor pilot lots with internal and external manufacturers. - Provide technical support to manufacturers to ensure proper interpretation of plans and the implementation of reliable, repeatable manufacturing processes. - Analyze measurement results of pilot lots and initiate necessary corrective actions to ensure consistency between plans, technical definitions, and produced parts. - Coordinate and monitor pilot lots through heat and surface treatments up to the finished parts storage. - Make corrections on pilot lot parts when necessary to ensure their compliance with defined requirements. - Continuously optimize and improve manufacturing processes.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor's degree in electromechanics, industrial design, or equivalent experience
- Experience as a designer with a technical profile
- Experience in production techniques and manufacturing technologies (stamping, forging, MIM, etc.) is a significant asset
- Excellent ability to read and interpret plans with ISO dimensioning
- Knowledge of metrology and measurement methods
- Ability to create operating range primitives
- Ability to design production tooling plans
- Ability to estimate component costs and necessary investments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of PDM and/or ERP systems (e.g., Baan) is a plus
- Analytical mindset, rigor, structure, and reliability
- Team spirit and strong communication skills
- Operational knowledge of English
