About this vacancy

As an Industrialization Engineer, you ensure that innovative products are not only designed but can also be successfully produced. You are involved from the design phase and critically assess manufacturability, quality, reliability, and efficiency. You act as the bridge between engineering, production, quality, and other involved disciplines. In doing so, you translate technical designs into a stable and manageable production process that is ready for serial production.

In this role, you will be engaged in tasks such as introducing new products into production environments, optimizing existing processes, and improving the manufacturability of products. You evaluate designs, drawings, and bills of materials for technical feasibility and actively contribute ideas for potential improvements before a product reaches the shop floor.

Additionally, you work on developing work instructions, process documentation, tooling, and production routings. You analyze processes, identify risks, and initiate improvements that contribute to higher quality, better delivery reliability, and a more efficient production process.

You are regularly found on the shop floor, where you collaborate with operators, engineers, quality departments, and project teams. Thanks to your technical expertise and pragmatic approach, you effectively connect various disciplines and translate technical challenges into concrete solutions. In short, it's a versatile role at the intersection of engineering, production, quality, and continuous improvement, where you make a direct contribution to the development and industrialization of technically advanced products.

What we expect from you

You are someone who enjoys diving into technology and understands what is required to bring a product successfully into the production environment. You look beyond just the design and actively think about manufacturability, quality, reliability, and process improvements.

Furthermore, you bring the following:

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrialization, process engineering, or a similar technical environment.
  • Affinity with production processes, continuous improvement, and optimizing technical processes.
  • The ability to analyze technical challenges and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with various disciplines, such as engineering, quality, production, and supply chain.
