Full Stack Java / Scala Developer (M/F)
TMC Luxembourg is looking for a Full Stack Java/Scala Developer (M/F) for one of its clients.

About this vacancy
You will be integrated into an Agile team and will work on the maintenance, evolution, and modernization of applications. You will also contribute to development, testing, and continuous improvement activities in an environment primarily oriented towards Java, with some tasks involving Scala.
What we expect from you
- At least 5 years of experience in Full Stack Java 8+ development, with a strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of designing and developing REST APIs.
- Expertise in the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and deployment technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Git and source code management tools. Good knowledge of unit and automated testing, particularly with Playwright.
- Ability to design, justify, and implement architectural decisions. Good knowledge of relational databases, ideally DB2.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and participation in various ceremonies.
- Knowledge of Scala, COBOL, and functional programming is a plus.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Kafka would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in French.
