FPGA engineer

About this vacancy

This role offers the opportunity to contribute hands-on to FPGA development while sharing your expertise, improving engineering processes and helping the wider team grow.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify FPGA solutions using Xilinx FPGAs and VHDL.
• Develop and maintain simulation environments and testbenches.
• Work on high-speed digital interfaces and systems.
• Collaborate on FPGA designs that integrate with hard CPUs and embedded software components.
• Contribute to low-level software development, including C programming, Linux kernel development and device drivers.
• Share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and help improve development methodologies, tools and processes.

What we expect from you

• At least 5 years of experience in FPGA development.
• Strong experience with VHDL and Xilinx FPGA platforms.
• Solid knowledge of FPGA simulation and verification, ideally using QuestaSim and Python-based testbenches.
• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe and RF interfaces.
• A good understanding of the interaction between FPGA hardware and embedded software, including CPUs and low-level drivers.
