About this vacancy
As a Calculator GWW at TMC, you prepare cost calculations for civil engineering projects at contractors, municipalities, and consultancy agencies in the southern Netherlands. You analyze specifications, drawings, and contract documents and translate them into accurate calculations and estimates. You collaborate closely with project managers, planners, and clients, contributing to the success of projects through sharp financial insights and knowledge of market prices. ### Your tasks include: - Preparing cost calculations and estimates - Analyzing specifications, drawings, and contracts - Requesting, evaluating, and comparing quotes - Identifying financial risks and optimizations - Advising on tenders and additional work - Coordinating with project teams on budgets and costs - Checking cost models and project plans - Contributing to strategic and tactical choices within projects
What we expect from you
To be successful as a Civil Works Estimator, you possess:
- Dutch language proficiency at C1/C2 level
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience with estimations in civil works or infrastructure
- Analytical skills and precision
- Commercial insight and cost awareness
- An independent, structured, and proactive work approach
- Excellent communication skills
