Are you a strong connector with a sense of administrative and societal relationships? As an Environmental Manager, you are the link between the project organization and the world around it. You bring interests together, ensure public support, and keep projects moving from preparation to delivery.
Our client works on the installation and replacement of cables and pipelines throughout the Netherlands. You ensure that all involved parties, from residents to municipalities, are informed in a timely and clear manner and that environmental aspects do not cause delays.
- In the preparation phase, you map out all interests, sensitivities, and environmental aspects and identify potential issues early on.
- You coordinate with municipalities, water boards, and clients to ensure smooth execution of the work.
- During implementation, you advise and support colleagues in the field of environmental management and monitor agreements made.
- You organize residents' meetings, draft resident letters, and maintain contact with neighbors, schools, and property owners.
- You ensure clear communication with all stakeholders and proactively address signals from the environment.
What we expect from you
- At least a bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years of work experience as an environmental manager. - Strong communication and social skills, along with the ability to bring parties together. - Organizational insight, a proactive work approach, and an eye for administrative relationships. - Knowledge of or affinity with the infrastructure sector is a plus. Driver's license B required. - Excellent command of the Dutch language.
