About this vacancy

As an Environmental Advisor, you will conduct administrative research for one or more environmental disciplines, such as explosive remnants of war, archaeology, and ecology, and develop advice based on this research. Where necessary, you will involve external parties and procure specialized products and studies.

You will work within a project team under the leadership of a project manager. Together, you are responsible for the quality, planning, and progress of the projects. You are decisive and solution-oriented, even when limited time is available to provide suitable advice.

Communication plays an important role in your work. You will regularly coordinate with your project team and external parties and proactively inform the project manager about planning, risks, and significant developments. During your research, you can effectively distinguish between main and secondary issues.

Thanks to your knowledge of the challenges surrounding the energy transition, you understand the impact environmental factors can have on projects. From your expertise, you will engage in discussions with municipalities, water authorities, and provinces. You will be part of a dynamic work environment that expects a high degree of independence while giving you the space to contribute to improving processes and developing yourself.

You contribute to the energy grid of the future. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting administrative research on environmental disciplines such as explosive remnants of war, trees, nitrogen, archaeology, ecology, and permits;
  • Preparing and delivering products such as environmental analyses and conditioning studies, taking into account risks, costs, and lead times;
  • Coordinating conditioning studies by outsourcing tasks to suppliers and critically reviewing the delivered products;
  • Engaging in discussions with municipalities, water authorities, and provinces regarding energy transition projects;
  • Identifying bottlenecks and contributing ideas for solutions and improvements within projects and processes.
