About this vacancy
As an Engineer Net Expansion, you are responsible for designing and preparing projects within the underground infrastructure. You work on expanding and improving the electricity grid, constantly collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Designing cable and pipeline routes for electricity grid expansions - Creating technical designs and execution plans (e.g., in AutoCAD and GIS systems) - Coordinating with clients, grid operators, municipalities, and permit issuers - Contributing ideas for the most efficient and feasible execution methods - Monitoring the progress, quality, and costs of your projects - Identifying risks and obstacles and proactively addressing them - Contributing to innovative solutions within the energy transition - You are involved from start to finish: from design to implementation and delivery.
What we expect from you
- You are technically skilled, work meticulously, and feel responsible for your projects. At the same time, you are adept at coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Civil Engineering, or a similar field
- At least 3 years of experience in underground infrastructure engineering (cables & pipelines)
- Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD and/or GIS (ArcGIS)
- Knowledge of and interest in grid expansions and energy-related issues
- Strong communication skills in Dutch
- Proactive, result-oriented, and responsible
- Possession of a driver's license (Category B)
