About this vacancy
As an engineer, you are responsible for the technical design. Based on the program of requirements (PvE), you create a design that you then coordinate and hand over to execution. Together with the team of project managers, executors, and work planners, you ensure the design and realization of projects in underground infrastructure within the energy transition. A glimpse of the tasks: - You handle the engineering based on customer requirements and wishes. Examples of clients include TenneT TSO, Liander, Evides, Enexis, Stedin, and Vitens; - Assessing, calculating, and organizing the required network components; - Determining the route with potential risks through inspections and desk studies; - Directing a modeler to elaborate the design; - Discussing the design with the client and ultimately approving the final design (DO); - Managing verification and validation throughout the entire design process.
What we expect from you
- You have an MBO+ or HBO level of education and thinking;
- You have 1 to 3 years of work experience as an engineer, including at least one year of experience in underground infrastructure/cables & pipelines or the energy transition (more experience is preferred);
- Experience with Systems Engineering and complex contract forms (UAV-GC, Best Value) is a strong plus;
- Experience with designing district heating networks is also a plus;
- A good command of the Dutch language in spoken and written form.
