About this vacancy
Design and implement embedded software for autonomous driving platforms (e.g., sensor fusion, perception, control).
Develop and deploy AI models for object detection, lane recognition, path planning, and decision-making.
Optimize algorithms for real-time performance on embedded hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, ARM Cortex).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Integrate and test software on actual vehicles and simulators.
Ensure compliance with sector-related safety standards.
Contribute to system architecture and participate in code reviews and documentation.
What we expect from you
- PhD in Computer, Electronics or Robotics Engineering, or related field with experience in embedded systems development.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deployment on embedded platforms. Familiarity with communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of computer vision, deep learning, and sensor technologies (LiDAR, radar, cameras).
- Knowledge of safety-critical systems and functional safety is a plus.
- Experience with hardware acceleration (CUDA, OpenCL, FPGA) is a plus.
- Good command of Italian and English language
- Availability to travel and relocate for medium to long periods
- Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC
What you can expect from us
The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base gross annual salary (Gross Annual Salary – RAL) will be no less than €32,000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services.
TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above.
In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
