Electrical Architect

About this vacancy

As an Electrical Architect, you are responsible for defining and realizing the electrical architecture of complex high-tech systems. You operate at system level, translating product requirements into scalable, robust, and compliant electrical solutions.

You play a key role in bridging concept development and system integration, ensuring the electrical infrastructure supports performance, safety, and future scalability. You collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, software, and systems engineering.

• Define and maintain the electrical architecture across system and subsystem levels;
• Develop roadmaps for electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, grounding, cabling, and data interfaces;
• Translate system requirements into detailed electrical designs and interface specifications;
• Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., CE, UL, IEC, NFPA) and safety regulations;
• Perform system-level trade-offs, feasibility studies, and risk assessments;
• Drive integration of electrical subsystems within complex mechatronic environments;
• Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, and documentation;
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and certification bodies;
• Support verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies and reusable architectures.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
• Proven experience in electrical design for complex systems;
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Power distribution systems (high and low voltage)
  • Grounding, shielding, and EMC/EMI
  • Electrical safety, interlocks, and protection mechanisms
  • High-speed data interfaces and system integration
• Experience with international standards and certification processes (CE, UL, IEC, etc.);
• Ability to think at system level while maintaining attention to detail;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
• Proactive, pragmatic, and results-driven mindset.
