About this vacancy
As a Hydraulic Engineering Designer at TMC, you work on hydraulic engineering projects such as dikes, quays, water barriers, locks, and pumping stations. You will collaborate with engineering firms and government agencies, contributing to both new projects as well as reinforcement and renovation initiatives. You are responsible for developing and detailing hydraulic engineering designs across various project phases. In doing so, you will work closely with consultants, project managers, and other specialists. You consider technical requirements, regulations, safety, and sustainability, while actively contributing to innovative solutions. Your tasks may include: - Creating and detailing hydraulic engineering designs. - Drafting preliminary designs, outline designs, definitive designs, and execution designs. - Assessing designs against standards, guidelines, and regulations. - Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams. - Contributing ideas for sustainable and innovative solutions. - Supporting technical coordination with clients.
What we expect from you
To be successful in this role, you possess:
- Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level.
- A completed higher professional or university education in Civil Engineering (specialization in Hydraulic Engineering).
- Experience or demonstrable interest in hydraulic engineering designs.
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
- A precise and results-oriented working approach.
- Good communication skills and a team spirit.
