About this vacancy

You will work with large and diverse datasets, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to uncover patterns, predict outcomes, and create data-driven solutions.

• Define data requirements, analytical approaches, and technical specifications based on business and project needs. 
• Perform data exploration, statistical analyses, and feasibility assessments to support model development and data-driven decision making. 
• Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models, analytical frameworks, and data solutions aligned with project objectives. 
• Conduct model validation, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical documentation to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of analytical solutions.. 

What we expect from you

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or equivalent;
• Previous industry experience;
• Strong working knowledge of C, C++, C#, Matlab, Python, R, Java;
• Working knowledge of common BI toolkits, such as Tableau, Qlikview;
• Proven experience in modeling physical-technical problems, risk modeling, algorithm development, image processing and / or data analysis;
• Experience with processing large data sets (> 1 TB) is considered a plus;
• Experience with image processing is considered a plus;
• Good oral and written communication skills, both in Italian and English;

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base gross annual salary (Gross Annual Salary – RAL) will be no less than €35,000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
