About this vacancy
Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
- Het ontwerpen, ontwikkelen en onderhouden van schaalbare datastromen en ETL-processen.
- Samenwerken met datawetenschappers, analisten en andere belanghebbenden om databehoeften te begrijpen en oplossingen te leveren.
- Het optimaliseren en beheren van dataopslagoplossingen, inclusief databases en datawarehouses.
- Het implementeren van databekwaliteitscontroles en het waarborgen van dataintegriteit.
- Documentatie ontwikkelen en onderhouden voor dataprocessen en -systemen.
- Het monitoren en oplossen van problemen met betrekking tot de prestaties en betrouwbaarheid van datastromen.
- Op de hoogte blijven van opkomende technologieën en best practices in de branche om onze datainfrastructuur continu te verbeteren.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- You are fluent in English and French or Dutch.
