About this vacancy
As a Cost Consultant, you are at the heart of decision-making within complex construction and civil projects. You oversee the interplay between design, engineering, risks, and finances, and translate this into reliable and substantiated cost insights. You work on projects at various stages, from early feasibility studies and variant evaluations to detailed estimates in the execution phase. You play a key role in managing budgets, identifying opportunities and risks, and optimizing designs from a cost perspective. Your analyses form the foundation for strategic decisions made by clients, project teams, and executives. Within projects, you are more than just a calculator: you serve as a substantive sparring partner, ask critical questions, and are not afraid to propose alternatives. You effortlessly collaborate with designers, project managers, and other specialists, and effectively communicate complex cost information to various stakeholders.
What we expect from you
- Minimum of a bachelor's level of education and thinking, preferably in Civil Engineering or a similar field
- At least 5 years of experience in independently estimating and budgeting projects
- Thorough knowledge of the market, cost benchmarks, and various contract forms (e.g., UAV, UAV-GC)
- Experience with calculation software such as IBIS Calculeren voor de Bouw (formerly IBIS TRAD) and/or IBIS Calculeren voor Infra
- Affinity with BIM, Solibri, and other developments in digitization and automation
- You take initiative, know how to persuade others, and dare to ask critical questions
- An entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset: you think in opportunities and actively contribute to winning and successful projects
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both towards project teams and clients

- A gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €7,000, depending on experience and education.
