About this vacancy

As a GWW (Ground, Road, and Water Engineering) Executor at TMC, you will be deployed to leading contractors and governmental organizations in southern Netherlands. You will be responsible for the daily execution of civil engineering projects within the ground, road, and waterworks sector. This includes activities such as road reconstructions, sewer projects, bridges, hydraulic engineering works, and the redevelopment of public spaces. You act as the key link between project management, work preparation, subcontractors, and execution. Safety, quality, planning, and budget are central to your role. Your tasks will include:

  • Preparing and executing GWW projects on-site
  • Managing execution staff and subcontractors
  • Monitoring planning, progress, quality, and safety
  • Coordinating equipment, personnel, and supplies
  • Identifying additional or reduced work
  • Reporting to the project manager
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., health and safety, VCA)

What we expect from you

To be successful as a GWW Site Manager, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in the Dutch language at C1/C2 level
  • A completed vocational (mbo), higher professional (hbo), or university (wo) education in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant work experience in GWW projects
  • Knowledge of execution processes, RAW/UAV(-GC)
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate people
  • Strong communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities and resilience under stress
  • A proactive and responsible work attitude
