COBOL Programmer-Analyst (M/F)

About this vacancy

You would be responsible for participating in a COBOL migration project, aimed at upgrading versions 6.2 and earlier to version 6.4. You will be involved in the analysis, adaptation, and updating of existing programs, as well as verifying their compatibility and proper functioning in a mainframe environment. You will also contribute to the reliability of processes and the smooth progress of the migration, in collaboration with the technical teams.

What we expect from you

• Proficiency in COBOL language, ideally versions 6.2 and earlier, with knowledge of COBOL 6.4.
• Proven experience in a mainframe environment.
• Strong command of JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing management and execution.
• Experience in COBOL program migration, code adjustment, and compatibility testing.
• Knowledge of debugging tools, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
• Experience in managing and monitoring batch processing.
• Knowledge of banking systems and payment applications is an asset. Good communication skills in French.
