Calibration and Control Engineer

About this vacancy

You will become part of innovative projects related to driveline and e-Powertrain systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during the phases of product development and application.

Activities may include:

• Definition and calibration of control strategies on test benches and vehicles
• Configuration and management of electronic control unit interfaces
• Integration and validation of automotive communications (CAN, LIN)
• Analysis and optimization of system performance
• Acquisition and processing of data from development and calibration activities
• Support for troubleshooting and problem-solving activities
• Collaboration with design, software, and validation teams

What we expect from you

• Degree in Automotive, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or related disciplines
• Knowledge of driveline, powertrain, or e-Powertrain systems
• 5+ years of experience in system calibration and integration activities
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and related development tools
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
• Familiarity with analysis, diagnostic, and calibration tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA or equivalents
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Excellent command of English and Italian

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base Gross Annual Salary (RAL) will not be less than €38,000, in line with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive remuneration package. At the end of the selection process, after evaluating the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may propose a final gross annual salary higher than the amount indicated.

In line with our business model, the final remuneration package also includes a profit-sharing component on projects, an individual annual budget dedicated to learning and development of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the selection process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
