About this vacancy
As a CAD Draftsman for Civil Engineering Works, you are a key player in realizing complex infrastructure projects. You create detailed technical drawings that serve as a foundation for the execution of civil engineering works. These range from the design of new roads and bike paths to the installation of sewer systems and the development of public spaces. You translate the vision of project engineers and designers into clear, precise, and actionable drawings, whether in 2D or 3D.
You use advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, focusing on the details that make a difference: from the development of underground infrastructure to the finishing of above-ground elements. You ensure that all drawings are technically feasible, comply with applicable standards, and are ready for implementation. Together with your team, you work on the future of our infrastructure, from improving highway traffic flow to making urban neighborhoods more sustainable.
What will you be doing specifically?
- You create technical drawings for civil projects, such as roads, bike paths, sewers, and site works;
- You work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce both 2D and 3D drawings that translate designs into practical execution plans;
- You process data, calculations, and specifications into drawings, ensuring everything is accurate and feasible for execution;
- You support project teams by providing the right drawings on time and efficiently implementing changes;
- You collaborate with various disciplines, such as project managers, engineers, and designers, to achieve an integrated design;
- You review drawings for technical feasibility, accuracy, and adherence to the established requirements;
- You ensure that project documentation is well-maintained and updated, so the project team always has access to the correct information.
What we expect from you
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering drafting tasks.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D; knowledge of Revit/CAD software for infrastructure is a plus).
- Basic to advanced knowledge of civil engineering: roads, sewer systems, earthworks, profiles, and RAW/standards.
- Able to independently create and modify drawings based on design or project information.
- Capable of reading, interpreting, and verifying technical drawings for accuracy.
- Understanding of dimensions, detail level, and quality standards within infrastructure projects.
